Over 600 International Cruise Passengers Dock in Cambodia’s Sihanoukville

Phnom Penh, April 02, 2026 –A foreign-flagged cruise ship carrying more than 600 international tourists docked safely at the Sihanoukville Autonomous Port on Thursday morning, Cambodian immigration authorities said. The Seven Seas Mariner, registered in the Bahamas, arrived at 7:50 a.m. local time from Vietnam with 609 passengers of 27 nationalities, including 323 women.

The vessel also carried 464 crew members from 36 countries, of whom 108 were women. The tourists are scheduled to stay in Cambodia from April 2 to 3, with plans to visit coastal resorts, cultural and religious sites, and local fishing communities in Preah Sihanouk province. Popular attractions include the Preah Thong and Neang Neak statue and other landmarks in the coastal city.Immigration officers at the port facilitated passport procedures to ensure swift onward travel for the visitors, authorities added.Officials said the visit reflects growing international interest in Cambodia’s cultural heritage and rapid development, particularly in Preah Sihanouk province, where the Royal Government has introduced special policies to promote investment.

The Seven Seas Mariner, measuring 216.93 metres in length, 28.8 metres in width and with a draft of 7 metres, is scheduled to depart for Thailand at 5:00 p.m. on April 3.Among the passengers, U.S. nationals accounted for the largest group, with around 400 visitors. A small number of tourists also travelled onward to Siem Reap province, while one passenger embarked from there onto the vessel. AKP
