The Governor stated that seeing the potential of Kep Province, the provincial administration has tried to develop and improve tourist sites to be better and more attractive to help attract more than 40,000 national and international tourists to visit Kep in one day.

With the increase in the number of visitors, garbage is an important issue that we need to pay attention to keep the hygiene for tourists to be fully satisfied.

“For all vendors, there must be alcohol, soap for guests, hand washing and the bins must be well organized and tidy,” he said. Visitors should carry an alcohol mask or gel to prevent Kovid 19 infection.

He added that the Kep beach resort was clean, hygienic and safe, following the words of Samdech Techo and the Ministry of Health on the prevention of Kovid 19.

Currently, the Kep Provincial Administration has been promoting the Kep Tourism Market Plan 2020-2024 to contribute to turning Kep into an attractive “high-end leisure destination” in Cambodia.
