Cambodia’s Techo International Airport has achieved another major milestone on the global stage after being named one of the world’s most beautiful airports by Prix Versailles 2026. The recognition was announced in Phnom Penh on Monday and highlights the country’s growing reputation for delivering world class infrastructure projects. The award comes at a time when Cambodia is strengthening its position as a regional hub for business, tourism, and investment, demonstrating that ambitious development projects can meet the highest international standards.

The latest accolade adds to a growing list of achievements for the country’s flagship airport project. Designed to serve as Cambodia’s new gateway to the world, Techo International Airport has attracted international attention for its architecture, innovation, sustainability, and passenger experience. The recognition not only celebrates the airport’s design excellence but also reflects growing global confidence in Cambodia’s economic future and development ambitions.

Prix Versailles Places Cambodia on the Global Stage

The Prix Versailles recognition is regarded as one of the most prestigious international awards celebrating outstanding architecture and design around the world. By being selected among the world’s most beautiful airports for 2026, Techo International Airport joins an elite group of aviation facilities recognized for combining functionality, aesthetics, and innovation.

The achievement marks an important moment for Cambodia, showcasing the country’s ability to compete with some of the world’s most advanced infrastructure projects. It also strengthens the nation’s image as a destination capable of delivering large scale developments that meet global expectations while reflecting local identity and vision.

Recognition of Years of Dedication and Hard Work

During an event held in Phnom Penh, Pung Carolyne, Vice Chairperson of Canadia Group and the Overseas Cambodian Investment Corporation, announced the latest award and praised the collective efforts behind the project.

“These accolades reflect the dedication, hard work, and commitment of everyone involved in bringing this remarkable project to life,” she said.

Her remarks highlighted the enormous effort invested by planners, engineers, architects, construction teams, and project partners who worked together to transform the ambitious vision into reality. The recognition serves as a tribute to the commitment and professionalism demonstrated throughout the airport’s development.

Building on Previous International Success

The Prix Versailles recognition is not the first international honor received by Techo International Airport. According to Carolyne, the airport had already secured two major architectural awards in 2025, further establishing its reputation as a landmark infrastructure project.

In addition, Skytrax recognized the airport in 2026 as one of the world’s best new airport terminals. These consecutive achievements demonstrate that the airport’s appeal extends beyond visual design, encompassing operational excellence, passenger comfort, and modern aviation standards.

The growing collection of international awards reinforces the airport’s position as one of Southeast Asia’s most notable new aviation developments and highlights Cambodia’s emergence as a serious player in global infrastructure development.

Showcasing Innovation, Sustainability, and Opportunity

Beyond architectural beauty, the recognition underscores the broader impact of the airport on Cambodia’s development goals. Carolyne noted that the awards highlight Cambodia’s capacity to deliver projects that embrace innovation, sustainability, and long term economic opportunity.

Modern airports are increasingly viewed as engines of economic growth. They stimulate tourism, facilitate trade, attract foreign investment, and create employment opportunities. Techo International Airport is expected to play a critical role in supporting Cambodia’s economic expansion by improving international connectivity and strengthening the country’s competitiveness.

The airport’s design and operational vision reflect a commitment to sustainable growth, aligning with global trends that prioritize environmentally responsible infrastructure while supporting national development objectives.

Growing International Confidence in Cambodia

According to Carolyne, the international recognitions also signal increasing confidence from the global community in Cambodia’s future. Major infrastructure projects often serve as indicators of a country’s economic trajectory, and the continued recognition of Techo International Airport sends a positive message to investors, businesses, and international partners.

As Cambodia continues investing in transport, logistics, tourism, and urban development, projects such as Techo International Airport demonstrate the country’s readiness to participate in an increasingly connected global economy. The airport has become more than a transportation hub. It now stands as a symbol of national progress, ambition, and international credibility.

Conclusion

The recognition of Techo International Airport by Prix Versailles 2026 marks another proud achievement for Cambodia. Being named among the world’s most beautiful airports reflects not only architectural excellence but also the country’s growing capacity to deliver world class infrastructure. Combined with previous international awards and recognition from Skytrax, the achievement strengthens Cambodia’s global reputation and highlights the nation’s commitment to innovation, sustainability, and economic development. As the airport prepares to welcome travelers from around the world, it stands as a powerful symbol of Cambodia’s future and its rising presence on the international stage.

Tourist Arrivals Drop Nearly 50 Percent: What’s Behind the Trend?

Cambodia’s tourism sector faced a major setback during the first five months of 2026 as international visitor arrivals dropped sharply compared to the same period last year. According to figures released by the Ministry of Tourism, the Kingdom welcomed approximately 1.54 million foreign tourists between January and May, representing a 47.8 percent decline year on year. The decrease has raised concerns across the industry, particularly as tourism remains one of Cambodia’s most important economic pillars. While officials remain optimistic about long term recovery, the latest figures highlight the significant challenges currently affecting international travel to the country.

Tourist Arrivals Drop Nearly 50 Percent
Tourist Arrivals Drop Nearly 50 Percent. The image is designed by AI for reference.

The decline comes amid a combination of regional uncertainties, border related tensions, and broader global economic pressures that have influenced travel decisions worldwide. Despite Cambodia’s continued efforts to promote its world famous attractions, including Angkor Archaeological Park in Siem Reap, tourism operators say external factors have weakened visitor demand since late 2025. As a result, authorities and industry leaders are now intensifying efforts to restore confidence and attract more international travelers.

Foreign Arrivals Fall Across Multiple Entry Points

The Ministry of Tourism reported that Cambodia received 1.54 million international visitors during the January to May period. Although the country continued to attract tourists from key markets, overall arrival numbers remained significantly lower than the previous year.

Air travel remained the primary gateway into Cambodia. Nearly 975,769 foreign visitors entered through international airports, accounting for almost 64 percent of total arrivals. However, even air arrivals experienced a year on year decline of nearly 20 percent, indicating that the slowdown extends beyond land border issues.

The most dramatic decline occurred at land border crossings and waterways. Arrivals through these routes plunged by 67.5 percent, reflecting the impact of regional challenges and cross border travel disruptions. The sharp fall highlights how heavily certain visitor segments rely on overland travel routes within Southeast Asia.

China, Vietnam and the United States Remain Key Markets

Despite the overall decline, China maintained its position as Cambodia’s largest source of international tourists. Nearly 400,000 Chinese visitors traveled to the Kingdom during the first five months of the year, accounting for approximately 26 percent of all foreign arrivals.

Vietnam ranked second with 381,062 visitors, representing about 24 percent of total arrivals. The United States remained Cambodia’s third largest source market, contributing more than 91,000 visitors during the same period.

These figures demonstrate that Cambodia continues to attract travelers from its traditional markets. However, the volume from these countries was not sufficient to offset declines from other segments or overcome broader regional travel challenges affecting the industry.

What Are the Main Causes Behind the Decline?

Tourism industry stakeholders point to several key factors behind the sharp decrease in visitor numbers. One of the most significant issues has been ongoing regional tensions and border related uncertainties, which have affected traveler confidence and cross border movement throughout the region.

At the same time, global economic pressures continue to influence consumer spending. Rising living costs, economic uncertainty in major source markets, and cautious travel budgets have led many potential travelers to postpone or reduce international trips. These conditions have affected destinations across Asia, including Cambodia.

Khiev Thy, a representative of the Angkor Tour Guide Association in Siem Reap province, said the challenges became noticeable toward the end of last year.

“The arrivals for foreign tourists have shown a negative sign since late last year due to border tension and global pressures,” he told Khmer Times.

Industry representatives believe additional support measures could help accelerate recovery. Suggestions include temporary tax relief, travel incentives, and promotional campaigns aimed at attracting visitors during slower travel periods.

Government Steps Up Tourism Recovery Efforts

Despite current challenges, the government remains focused on rebuilding international tourism demand. Minister of Tourism Huot Hak said authorities are working closely with private sector partners to strengthen the country’s competitiveness and improve the visitor experience.

“The ministry has intensified tourism promotion with the private sector, improving air connectivity, and supporting service standards across the sector,” Huot Hak said.

The government’s tourism strategy places strong emphasis on visitor safety, cultural preservation, and the development of diverse tourism products. Beyond the iconic Angkor heritage sites, Cambodia is promoting coastal tourism, ecotourism experiences, and other unique attractions designed to appeal to a broader international audience.

Officials believe that diversifying tourism offerings will strengthen the industry’s resilience and create more sustainable growth over the long term.

Different Scenarios for Tourism Recovery

Looking ahead, the Ministry of Tourism has developed three possible scenarios for international arrivals in 2026 based on how current challenges evolve.

Under the most pessimistic outlook, if existing crises continue throughout the year, Cambodia expects between 4.6 million and 4.8 million international visitors. A moderate recovery scenario, where conditions improve but border related issues remain unresolved, could result in between 5.3 million and 5.5 million arrivals.

The most optimistic scenario assumes that current challenges are fully resolved. In that case, Cambodia could welcome between 6.1 million and 6.3 million foreign visitors by the end of the year.

These projections highlight both the uncertainty facing the tourism sector and the significant growth potential that remains if conditions improve.

Visa Free Initiative Targets Chinese Visitors

As part of efforts to stimulate demand from key markets, Cambodia recently introduced a pilot visa free entry program for Chinese citizens. The initiative allows Chinese visitors to stay in the country for up to 14 days between June 15 and October 15, 2026.

Officials hope the program will encourage additional arrivals from one of Cambodia’s most important tourism markets and help offset some of the recent declines. If successful, similar initiatives could be considered for other strategic markets in the future.

Domestic Tourism Emerges as a Bright Spot

While international arrivals declined sharply, domestic tourism delivered encouraging results. Between January and May, Cambodia recorded approximately 20 million domestic tourism trips, representing a remarkable 54 percent increase compared with 13 million trips during the same period last year.

The strong growth in domestic travel has provided valuable support for local businesses, hotels, restaurants, and tourism operators. Although domestic tourism cannot fully replace international visitor spending, it has helped sustain economic activity across many destinations during a challenging period.

Conclusion

Cambodia’s nearly 50 percent decline in foreign tourist arrivals during the first five months of 2026 reflects a combination of regional tensions, border related challenges, and broader global economic pressures. While international visitor numbers remain under pressure, the government and tourism industry are actively implementing recovery strategies focused on improved connectivity, stronger promotion, diversified tourism products, and targeted incentives. At the same time, the rapid growth of domestic tourism offers encouraging signs for the sector’s resilience. The coming months will be crucial in determining whether Cambodia can reverse the downturn and return to a stronger growth trajectory.

Cambodia Seeks Stronger Eurasian Trade Links: A New Gateway to Growth?

Cambodia is stepping up its efforts to expand international trade and attract new investment opportunities by pursuing deeper economic cooperation with Eurasian nations. During the Russia ASEAN Commemorative Summit held in Kazan, Russia, from June 17 to 18, 2026, Prime Minister Hun Manet led a Cambodian delegation in a series of high level meetings focused on strengthening bilateral relations, boosting trade and investment, and exploring broader economic integration. The discussions came as ASEAN and Russia celebrated 35 years of partnership, providing a timely platform for Cambodia to advance its economic diplomacy agenda.

Cambodia Seeks Stronger Eurasian Trade Links-A New Gateway to Growth

At the center of the visit was Cambodia’s proposal to pursue a Free Trade Agreement with the Eurasian Economic Union, a regional bloc comprising Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, and Armenia. The initiative reflects the Kingdom’s ongoing strategy to diversify export destinations, reduce dependence on traditional markets, and position itself as a gateway connecting Southeast Asia with emerging markets across Eurasia.

Cambodia and Russia Reaffirm Growing Partnership

Prime Minister Hun Manet met with Russian President Vladimir Putin on the sidelines of the summit, where both leaders reviewed the progress of Cambodia Russia relations and discussed opportunities for future cooperation. According to the Prime Minister’s Spokesperson Unit, the two leaders expressed satisfaction with the steady development of ties across multiple sectors and reaffirmed their commitment to expanding collaboration in areas of mutual interest.

During the meeting, Hun Manet thanked Russia for its longstanding support of Cambodia’s socio economic development. He acknowledged the Russian Federation’s valuable contributions over the years and emphasized the importance of maintaining strong relations as both countries seek new opportunities amid changing global economic conditions.

Expanding Cooperation Across Key Economic Sectors

The discussions between the Cambodian and Russian leaders covered a wide range of sectors with significant growth potential. Both sides exchanged views on strengthening cooperation in trade, investment, energy, agriculture, education, tourism, culture, and people to people connectivity.

As global economic conditions continue to evolve, the two countries also explored new areas where collaboration could deliver mutual benefits. The talks highlighted a shared interest in creating stronger economic links and encouraging greater exchanges between businesses, institutions, and citizens from both nations.

Cambodia Pushes for a Free Trade Agreement with the EAEU

One of the most significant outcomes of the visit was Cambodia’s renewed push for a Free Trade Agreement with the Eurasian Economic Union. The proposal was discussed during a working meeting between Prime Minister Hun Manet and Bakytzhan Sagintayev, Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission, the executive body responsible for regulating the EAEU.

The discussions focused on ways to increase bilateral trade and evaluate the feasibility of launching formal negotiations for a future trade agreement. Both parties examined how closer economic integration could create new opportunities for businesses, investors, and exporters on both sides.

Cambodia Positions Itself as a Regional Trade Gateway

During the talks, Hun Manet highlighted Cambodia’s growing importance as a regional trade and investment destination. He emphasized that the Kingdom offers investors access not only to the domestic market but also to broader regional opportunities through its participation in ASEAN, the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership, and several bilateral trade agreements.

“Cambodia serves as a strategic gateway to regional and international markets,” Mr Hun Manet said, underscoring the potential benefits an FTA could bring to both sides.

The Prime Minister explained that Cambodia’s strategic location and extensive trade network make it an attractive partner for Eurasian economies seeking greater access to Southeast Asia. By strengthening economic ties with Cambodia, EAEU member states could gain valuable entry into one of the world’s fastest growing regional markets.

Seeking Russia’s Support for the Trade Initiative

Recognizing Russia’s influential role as a founding member of the Eurasian Economic Union, Hun Manet also sought President Putin’s support for Cambodia’s proposal. He argued that a future agreement would create mutual advantages by connecting Eurasian economies with ASEAN’s vast consumer base and dynamic business environment.

Cambodia believes that closer engagement with the EAEU could unlock new opportunities for trade expansion, investment flows, and industrial cooperation. The proposal aligns with the government’s broader goal of building diversified economic partnerships that enhance long term growth and resilience.

Positive Response from Eurasian Economic Leaders

Bakytzhan Sagintayev welcomed the progress made in relations between Cambodia and the Eurasian Economic Union over the past decade. He acknowledged that significant untapped potential remains for deeper economic cooperation and expanded commercial engagement.

Both sides agreed that continued discussions toward a future Free Trade Agreement could serve as an important catalyst for increasing trade volumes, attracting investment, and strengthening economic ties. Their shared commitment reflects growing confidence in the benefits of closer collaboration between Southeast Asia and Eurasia.

Cambodia’s Broader Economic Vision

The meetings in Russia underscore Cambodia’s broader strategy of strengthening international partnerships and expanding its presence in global trade networks. By actively engaging with emerging markets and regional economic blocs, the Kingdom aims to create new opportunities for businesses, attract foreign investment, and enhance economic competitiveness.

As Cambodia continues to diversify its trade relationships, initiatives such as the proposed Free Trade Agreement with the Eurasian Economic Union demonstrate the country’s ambition to serve as a bridge between Southeast Asia and the wider Eurasian region, creating benefits for businesses and consumers alike.

Conclusion

Cambodia’s participation in the Russia ASEAN Commemorative Summit highlights its determination to expand economic opportunities beyond traditional markets. Through discussions with Russian leaders and Eurasian officials, Prime Minister Hun Manet advanced the Kingdom’s vision of deeper trade integration and stronger international partnerships. If successful, a future Free Trade Agreement with the Eurasian Economic Union could open new pathways for trade, investment, and economic growth while reinforcing Cambodia’s role as a strategic gateway to Southeast Asia.

Telegram Scam Nets Over $100,000 from Facebook Shoppers: Why Did So Many Victims Fall for It?

Cambodian authorities have arrested a man accused of running a sophisticated online scam that targeted Facebook shoppers and extorted more than $110,000 from victims across the country. The suspect was apprehended on June 20, 2026, following a joint operation involving the Anti Cyber Crime Department, the Internal Security Department, and Tbong Khmum provincial police. Investigators say the suspect exploited people’s trust in businesses, government institutions, and law enforcement officials by creating fake Telegram accounts to deceive and intimidate victims into sending money.

Telegram Scam Nets Over $100,000 from Facebook Shoppers

The case highlights a growing threat facing online consumers in Cambodia as cybercriminals adopt increasingly sophisticated methods to manipulate and exploit digital transactions. By impersonating online vendors, senior government leaders, and police officers, the suspect allegedly carried out dozens of scams, demonstrating how cyber fraud continues to evolve alongside the rapid growth of online commerce.

Police Uncover an Elaborate Online Extortion Scheme

According to authorities, the suspect orchestrated a carefully planned operation that relied on fake Telegram profiles featuring photos of senior government and police officials. These accounts were used to build credibility and create fear among victims, making them more likely to comply with fraudulent demands.

Police investigators believe the suspect carried out the scheme approximately 50 times, collecting more than $110,000 from unsuspecting individuals. The operation came to light after cybercrime investigators gathered sufficient evidence linking the suspect to the fraudulent activities.

The arrest was announced by the Anti Cyber Crime Department, which described the case as a significant breakthrough in Cambodia’s ongoing fight against technology based crime. Authorities have since transferred the suspect to the Phnom Penh Municipal Court for further legal proceedings.

Facebook Live Shoppers Became Prime Targets

Investigators revealed that the suspect specifically targeted customers who purchased products through Facebook Live broadcasts, particularly those involving clothing and fruit sales. These live selling platforms have become increasingly popular in Cambodia, attracting thousands of buyers each day.

According to police, the suspect monitored these broadcasts and identified customers who placed orders. He then created fake Telegram accounts impersonating the sellers and contacted the buyers directly.

Victims were falsely informed that they had made payment errors that disrupted the seller’s banking system or payment platform. They were told the business account had been temporarily restricted because of the mistake and that additional payments were required to resolve the issue.

Fear and Impersonation Used as Powerful Weapons

When victims questioned the requests or refused to send money, investigators say the suspect escalated his tactics. Using separate Telegram accounts, he allegedly impersonated senior government officials and National Police officers to pressure victims into complying.

Victims were reportedly threatened with arrest and legal consequences if they failed to transfer the requested funds. The strategy relied heavily on fear and the public’s respect for government institutions.

“The offender not only impersonated online vendors, but also used the names and images of senior leaders and state institutions as tools to gain credibility and instil fear among victims,” the department said.

Authorities warned that this type of fraud is particularly dangerous because it combines social engineering techniques with identity impersonation to manipulate victims emotionally and psychologically.

Cambodia Strengthens Its Fight Against Cybercrime

The case comes at a time when Cambodia is intensifying efforts to combat online fraud and cyber enabled criminal activity. Earlier this year, the government enacted the Law on Combating Technology Based Scams, introducing stricter penalties for individuals involved in digital fraud and organized cybercrime operations.

Law enforcement agencies have increasingly focused on identifying and dismantling cybercrime networks as internet usage and digital commerce continue to expand nationwide. Officials believe stronger legislation, combined with public awareness, will play a crucial role in reducing future scams.

The successful arrest demonstrates the growing capabilities of Cambodia’s cybercrime investigators and their commitment to protecting consumers from increasingly complex online threats.

Public Urged to Stay Alert Online

Following the arrest, authorities reminded the public to remain vigilant when receiving messages from unknown social media accounts or messaging platforms. They stressed that individuals should never transfer money based solely on unverified claims, suspicious requests, or threats.

Police also encouraged citizens to verify information directly with businesses before making any additional payments and to report suspicious online activity immediately. Early reporting can help investigators identify criminal networks more quickly and prevent others from becoming victims.

As online shopping continues to grow in popularity, experts say digital awareness and caution remain some of the most effective defenses against cyber fraud.

Conclusion

The arrest of the alleged Telegram scam operator serves as a timely reminder that cybercriminals are constantly adapting their tactics to exploit trust and fear. By targeting Facebook shoppers and impersonating trusted institutions, the suspect allegedly extracted more than $110,000 from victims across Cambodia. While authorities have taken decisive action, the case underscores the importance of public vigilance, digital literacy, and prompt reporting to help combat the growing threat of online fraud.

Cambodia is expanding its tourism vision beyond traditional sightseeing by promoting wellness tourism as a key driver of sustainable growth. On June 21, 2026, in Siem Reap, government officials, international partners, and hundreds of participants gathered to celebrate the 12th International Day of Yoga, highlighting the country’s commitment to healthy ageing, mental well being, and holistic travel experiences. Through yoga and health focused activities, Cambodia aims to attract a growing number of travelers seeking relaxation, personal wellness, and meaningful experiences while supporting long term tourism development.

Wellness tourism in Cambodia's embrace

The initiative reflects a broader strategy to diversify Cambodia’s tourism products and respond to changing global travel trends. As wellness tourism continues to gain popularity worldwide, the Kingdom sees an opportunity to position itself as a destination where visitors can combine cultural exploration with activities that promote physical and mental health.

International Day of Yoga Takes Center Stage in Siem Reap

The promotion of wellness tourism was showcased during the 12th International Day of Yoga celebration held at the Royal Residence Park in Siem Reap. The event was organized by the Ministry of Tourism in partnership with the Embassy of India to Cambodia and several government institutions, with approval from Prime Minister Hun Manet.

The gathering attracted more than 500 participants, including government officials, students, local residents, and international guests. Tourism Minister Huot Hak and Indian Ambassador Vanlalvawna Bawitlung presided over the event, demonstrating the importance both countries place on health, cultural exchange, and tourism cooperation.

Why Wellness Tourism Matters?

According to the Ministry of Tourism, the celebration served a purpose beyond promoting yoga practice. It also reinforced Cambodia’s ambition to become a recognized wellness tourism destination for both domestic and international travelers.

Around the world, more tourists are choosing destinations that offer opportunities for relaxation, preventive healthcare, stress management, and improved mental well being. This growing trend has transformed wellness tourism into one of the fastest expanding segments of the global travel industry. By embracing this movement, Cambodia hopes to attract visitors looking for travel experiences that contribute to healthier lifestyles.

Yoga’s Growing Role in Healthy Ageing

The event was held under the theme “Yoga for Healthy Ageing,” emphasizing the importance of maintaining physical, mental, and emotional health throughout life. Ambassador Bawitlung noted that the theme reflects growing international recognition of yoga as a valuable practice for improving overall well being.

Originating in India, yoga has evolved into a global movement practiced by millions of people across different cultures and age groups. Its worldwide influence was formally recognized when 177 countries supported the United Nations resolution declaring June 21 as the International Day of Yoga. The annual celebration continues to promote the benefits of yoga while encouraging healthier communities around the world.

Strengthening Cambodia and India Tourism Ties

The yoga celebration also formed part of the ongoing Cambodia India Tourism Year, an initiative designed to strengthen tourism exchanges and deepen people to people connections between the two countries.

The event highlighted the strong and expanding partnership between Cambodia and India across tourism, culture, education, trade, and community engagement. Through joint activities such as International Day of Yoga, both nations continue to showcase their cultural richness while creating new opportunities for cooperation and mutual understanding.

Diversifying Cambodia’s Tourism Offerings

For decades, Cambodia has been internationally recognized for its magnificent temples, cultural heritage, and historical attractions. While these assets remain central to the tourism sector, officials believe diversification is essential for future growth.

By promoting wellness tourism, Cambodia is creating new reasons for travelers to visit and stay longer. Activities focused on healthy living, mindfulness, and personal well being complement traditional tourism experiences and appeal to a growing segment of global travelers seeking balance and self improvement during their journeys.

A Long Standing Commitment to Healthy Living

Cambodia has participated in International Day of Yoga celebrations every year since 2015. Throughout this period, the Indian Embassy has worked closely with Cambodian government agencies, educational institutions, and local partners to expand awareness of yoga and encourage healthy lifestyles across the country.

Following the successful Siem Reap event, the 12th International Day of Yoga was also scheduled to take place in Phnom Penh on June 21 at the Techo Meas and Techo Yat Gardens along the Chaktomuk Riverside Walk, allowing even more people to participate in the global celebration.

Conclusion

Cambodia’s growing focus on wellness tourism reflects a forward looking strategy that combines health, sustainability, and tourism development. By promoting yoga and wellness centered experiences, the Kingdom is positioning itself to meet changing traveler preferences while encouraging healthier lifestyles for residents and visitors alike. As global demand for wellness travel continues to rise, Cambodia’s investment in this sector could open new opportunities for economic growth, cultural exchange, and long term tourism success.
