How much money do I need to live comfortably in Cambodia?

What is the Real Cost of Living in Cambodia? Compared to many Asian countries, the cost of living in Cambodia is still relatively cheap. A foreigner living alone in the city can easily get by on $800 – $1,000 per month if he cooks his own food and indulges in minimal luxuries.

Cambodia Living Costs

In a recent post I wrote about the cost of living in Cambodia. The information was provided by a few expats living in Cambodia. In this post, I will talk about the cost of living in Cambodia from the point of view of a couple of expats who live on a budget and who enjoy a comfortable standard of living.

I will talk about the cost of living in Cambodia from the point of view of a couple of expats who live on a budget and who enjoy a comfortable standard of living.

I will start with the basics of living in Cambodia and then go on to talk about what it costs to live in Cambodia.

As with all posts on my blog, these posts are not sponsored by any organization. They are just what I think about the cost of living in Cambodia. I will try to be as unbiased as possible.

Apartment and House Deals in Cambodia

You can also consider buying a house, or renting an apartment. I found this one on Airbnb, but there are plenty of other options around. It’s a $50/night place, but it’s clean, it’s in a good location, and it has an amazing view. It’s the best place I’ve stayed in Cambodia, and I was here for five months. The owner was nice and showed me around. I have used Airbnb a lot in Cambodia and it’s one of the best ways to save money. I have also stayed in a few hotels and I always stay in Airbnbs when I go to Southeast Asia. You can read more about my experiences with Airbnb on this page.

Cambodian Food, Drink, and Transportation Costs

Cambodia is not like the other Southeast Asian nations, which are generally affordable for expats. There are also several reasons why Cambodia is the cheapest place for expats to live in Southeast Asia.

The cost of food, housing, and living in Cambodia is one-third that of Thailand. While there are more expensive cities in Cambodia, these are mostly in Phnom Penh and Sihanoukville. With a population of around 15 million, the capital city of Phnom Penh is the largest city in Cambodia and has a population of around 1.5 million. If you live in Phnom Penh, you will be one of the richest people in the country.,,If you are looking to live in Cambodia on the cheap, then Phnom Penh and Sihanoukville are the cheapest places to live.

Cheap living, somewhat easy visa

When I first started writing about living in Cambodia, this was one of the easiest countries in the world to stay in for a year just by paying for a business visa. The government eventually closed that loophole though in 2018. Foreigners who want to stay in the country long term will now need a work permit to extend their visas for 6 or 12 months.

Cambodia is a popular tourist destination, and with good reason – it’s an incredibly beautiful and affordable country. But what’s the cost of living in Cambodia for foreigners? How much money do you need to live comfortably?

In this article, we’ll take a look at the real cost of living in Cambodia, including rent, food, transportation, and other expenses. We’ll also compare Cambodia’s cost of living to other popular Asian countries, so you can see how it stacks up.
