Two new community transmission of Covid19 found on patients used to go to Zando and Pedro stores in Phnom Penh, Cambodia on November 27 2020.
The test results on December 7, 2020, showed that there was a positive case of Covid-19, which was an infection in 2 community transmission of Covid19 where both patients One went to Zando clothing store around Boeung Keng Kang on November 27, 2020 and the other to Pedro on Sihanouk Boulevard on November 27.
The two newly infected patients include a Cambodian man named Srian Kim Srun, who lives in Wat Phnom commune, Daun Penh district, Phnom Penh, and another Cambodian woman, name: Eam Thida, lives in Sangkat Boeung Tumpun, Khan Meanchey, Phnom Penh. Both patients are currently being treated at Chak Angre Health Center in Phnom Penh.
It should be reminded that the 27th of November 2020, when the two patients went to their respective Zando and Pedro stores, was on the day of the promotional event. The so-called Black Friday, which saw a large number of people shopping for discounted goods that day.
Nationwide, there were 350 cases of Kovid-19 infection, of which 307 cases were cured and 43 patients were being treated. In particular, considering the number of infections in the community related to the “November 28 community event”, the number of infections in the community has increased to 34, as of the test results on December 7, 2020.
