Kampot is an attractive place and famous In Cambodia. Tourism can’t get over by this along journey that full of beaches, seafood, clothes, markets, restaurants, resorts and natural with a lot of Island. By traveling to Kampot consists 3-4 transportations way get into this fabulous city with safety and joyful. Mostly tourism like spending their holiday in Kampot 2-3 days by renting camping or book the hotel cover with pool, restaurant and convenient place.

Tourism really appreciate to travel by train. Travellers can take the train from Phnom Penh to Sihanoukville Line, which will stop at Takeo train station from Phnom Penh station that takes about 2 hours. The train stops here to allow the passengers to get a 10-minute break to purchase foods and drinks before the train continues its journey to Kampot Train Station. The last drop-off point is located at Sihanoukville station. The best way to get to kampot is by train with 7$ and take 3 hours from Phnom Penh.

If you’re looking for a bit of comfort during your trip, then a private taxi is your best option. The journey will take approximately 3 hours in total and there is some absolutely stunning scenery along the way. While driving you can ask driver to stop and take picture along the road with beautiful scenery.

Bus is a best way and the cheapest price from Phnom Penh to Kampot. The journey will take approximately at least 3 hours. On the bus will cover with toilet, TV, air-condition and you can cook by yourself and eat on the bus if you don’t want to purchase your food outside. You can see the schedule and book it, otherwise you will miss the bus.

Driving by motorcycle is a freedom way to ride by a couple and romantic journey along the beautiful scenery with natural air. If you don’t have motorcycle, in Phnom Penh have the rental service and a reasonable price. Driving by motorcycle is a good way to see a long way to a nice city.

To talk about Cambodia we can’t get over Siem Reap and Phnom Penh. This two cities is the most visitors and the most cultural with a modern art that travelers can’t miss. Today transportations is very modern, safety, affordable price and comfortable. Price of transportation in Cambodia are difference between, Car, bus or plane.

By Plane

Plane is the fastest transportation spend only 30-40 minutes from Siem Reap to Phnom Penh. Even though it is the fastest and also the highest price. The price is around 256$ with a really comfortable and convenient place. Normally travelers doesn’t really spend their time on plane, but will get into the bus it’s really cheap and freedom.

Travelled between Siem Reap and Phnom Penh are plenty of choice by bus take about 7 hours by private taxi 4 half-hours are comfortable, reasonably priced, plus there’s a stop halfway for about 30 mins, so you can get out stretch the legs, buy a drink, snack, meal, etc. if you book on private taxi with drivers, it’s easy to stretch out make photos. They will drive you from Siem Reap to Phnom Penh, from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap. The price around 100$-120$ is for 2-3 days you can ask for more discount.

By Bus

Travel by a local bus is the cheapest price for traveling in Cambodia from Siem Reap to Phnom Penh. If you like crowd and freeness bus is the best choice with a special price around 5$. Some bus has a really good service cover in such as toilet, bed if you travel at night time and normally bus take 6-7 hours. During driving, they will stop for having lunch and relax with a nice view on the way.

Some place cover with accommodation and food also, so don’t waste time on renting tuk tuk or bicycle. Just spend your one day at one place and can do in a different activities.

The beach in Kep/Kampot is a nice place to relax and run away from a business city. After arriving, tourists usually spend their holiday on the beach especially enjoy cooking with fresh and cheap seafood that Khmer people do their own business and fished by their own. If you’re looking for some sundowners, head up to the Beach House to have a few cocktails around the pool or overlooking the beach and camping tent yes it is your right way to Kep/Kampot.

Hiking in the forests of Kep National Park. Kep is such a small town you might be surprised to realize it’s also one of the places you can hike without hiring a guide in Cambodia. Kep National Park encompasses 53 square kilometers on the small mountain that rises out of the center of town.  An easy day trip from Kampot, Bokor National Park Cambodia is easily one of the best Kampot attractions.

Take a Trip to Rabbit Island. If you’ve grown bored of Kep’s hiking, eating, and exploring, perhaps it’s time to hop on a ferry to nearby Rabbit Island, called Koh Tonsay in Khmer. Rabbit Island is unlike most other tropical islands in Southeast Asia, in that it is still truly off the tourist path. Beside Rabbit Island also included Koh Pos, Kos Svay, just take only 30 minutes from Rabbit Island by TukTuk or Moto, if you interested in bicycling you can rent a bicycle that not much expensive.

Bokor Hill Station in Preah Monivong National Park, Cambodia was built in the 1920s by French colonists wanting to escape the heat and humidity of the capital Phnom Penh. If you wish to see the oldest building with history and full of nature Bokor is your choice. Don’t worry about eating-on the top of mountain also provides restaurant, drinks, especially with a nice scenery and cloud you can take with a beautiful picture. You can still enjoy the beautiful mountain views on the way up though. You can visit by motorbike, tuk-tuk, or take a tour. The views are wonderful. The history and houses of the royal family is interesting, including one for the King’s mistress. The temple, old and new is the best part of the visit, along with the Christain church built a century ago. Limited food so bring a picnic. Casino is not worth your time.

Spending your holiday at Kampot is not that worth day if we have to separate the time and money at the right way. If you wish to visit Cambodia don’t forget to take your time read this article. Kampot doesn’t consist lot of beach as Sihanoukville, but it still the popular and best scenery for relaxing. At night time, you can rent camping tent sleep near the beach, especially enjoy dancing together, drinking with cheap seafood and play game with friend. If you wish to stay at the luxury hotel with the nice view and romantic yes of course many hotel and guest house are the best in Kampot with good price, fast service, safety, and comfortable. Kampot is an easy, livable town that’s great for digital nomads. It feels like a real Cambodian city that doesn’t exist for tourism, but there are a number of expats—many working for the NGOs that are so common in Cambodia—so you can find good restaurants, cool cafes, and some comforts of home.
