In the animal kingdom, some animals can be very dangerous, and undoubtedly they can harm people as well. Human beings are afraid of creatures that pose a threat to them. These happen because some animals are poisonous and venomous. In fact, people die because of those dangerous animals. In Cambodia, there are some of animals that can take people’s life, and you shouldn’t get near, or cause those devil to attack you out of the blue. When visiting Cambodia or zoo, you have to be aware of these dangerous animals below to make sure you won’t be injured or killed by them.

1. Crocodiles

Crocodiles are one of the most powerful animals on earth. You shouldn’t get near the crocodiles if it’s unnecessary, and don’t take any risks if someone ask you to stand near the crocodiles so as to have fun even if they say those animals are obedient or won’t harm you; please don’t believe them if can, and get away quickly. According to Bangkok post, a two-year-old girl was killed by crocodiles on her family’s farm in Siem Reap province in 2019 after she wondered off into the enclosure alone. The polices had already confirmed that little girl fell into the crocodiles’ enclosure and was killed, leaving only her skull. In actual fact, crocodiles are not obedient, and they can even kill humans.

2. Dogs

When it comes to dogs, you might think they are smart, a good companion, and the best soulmate to people. But in Cambodia, some of the dogs can kill and harm humans if those dogs are not being vaccinated. The thing is that, some of the dogs are infected with rabies, so when the dogs bite people, the virus will spread into human body because the dogs are not properly vaccinated. If the virus of animals spread to human body, and if you don’t get the vaccine against that virus on time after the dog bites (counting from the first day of biting to at least 15 days to 30 days), you will start to feel unconscious and convulsion, therefore; everything will be too late, and you’ll die. In most cases, it happens to kids.

3. Tigers and lions

Tigers and lions are being rare in Cambodia which means you won’t periodically be able to see those animals. Tigers and lions are very dangerous to humans and other wild instincts as well, so they must be treated with utmost cautious. People and other animals are scared of tigers and lions; so please make sure to stay far from those 2 types of animals. Peculiarly, don’t come to close and surprise a sleeping tiger or lion, and if they are aware of that, they will either attack and kill or injure you. Don’t even dare to feed tigers and lions when you’re in the zoo zone.

4. Snakes

There are many different types of snakes. Some are venomous and very dangerous while others don’t have the poisonous. But, who knows what kinds of snakes don’t have venom, so don’t try to make fun with the snakes. The snakes will make people suffer because those animals attack the circulatory system of human, then the venom goes to the bloodstream. So when you see the snakes, don’t attempt to kill it, and don’t run. If you run as soon as you see the snakes, they will attack and bite you.
