1. Dinosaurs Alive in Phnom Penh
Dinosaurs Alive in Phnom Penh has an interactive trail with lifesize dinosaurs. As one of the biggest dinosaur gardens, this theme park has gotten great rating and is open long hours, every day.
2. Butterfly Paradise in Siem Reap
Butterfly Paradise in Siem Reap has waterfalls, koi fish ponds, tropical gardens, and has a giant sized caterpillar for anyone to enjoy. This peaceful nature preserve is located just a few minutes drive away from Pub Street. With tortoises, snakes, and other insects, this park will entertain your whole family.
3. Fly Phnom Penh
Fly Phnom Penh is an affordable, indoor trampoline park in the Factory area. With basketball, dodgeball, an arena area, and airbags, the staff is committed to keeping things sanitized and providing safety procedures to keep everyone safe. Currently, they only accept 10 jumpers each session so it is highly suggested you call or plan ahead if going with a large group.
4. Garden City Water Park
Garden City Water Park is perfect for all ages. This $44 million dollar attraction has a children’s playground, a waterfall, a sauna and steam facility, water slides, and a lagoon with waves. On 8.6 hectares of land, this waterpark has the capacity to allow 7,000 visitors a day but being COVID-cautious, only 3,500 people are allowed in, currently.
5. Phnom Tamao Wildlife Rescue Center
Phnom Tamao Wildlife Rescue Center is a protected regenerated forest that has 1,200 rescued animals from 102 species. This zoo is ran by the Cambodian Forestry Administration, in partnership with the nonprofit, Wildlife Alliance, so you can bet these animals are being treated with care and respect. You will see gibbons, sun bears, tigers, alligators, elephants, and more.
6. Happy Ranch Horse Farm in Siem Reap
Happy Ranch Horse Farm in Siem Reap is a great way to get a tour of the countryside, rice fields, Buddhist temples, and much more. Tours usually last 1-3 hours and the Cambodian horses and ponies are well taken care of. They also have the option of riding at sunrise or sunset, if planned correctly.
7. Phnom Climb is Cambodia
Phnom Climb is Cambodia’s first indoor rock climbing experience, but be sure to call and reserve your place. Although Phnom Climb was closed for 8 months due to COVID, they are back open with set climb times. They also check temperatures and check vaccination cards for anyone over 18 to keep the facility safe and sanitized.
8. The Apopo Visitor Center
The Apopo Visitor Center will give your family a new perspective on rats. This center explains how these Cambodian rats, that sometimes weight up to 1.3 kg, can not only detect bombs up to one meter below ground, as well as detecting tuberculosis.
