How can I get Cambodian citizenship?

The Kingdom of Cambodia offers many programs for foreigners to get Cambodian citizenship. The Citizenship Law allows foreigners to apply for citizenship but they must meet certain requirements. They must have a long-term residence in the Kingdom, be married to a Cambodian spouse, or have an investment in the Kingdom. Foreigners who are married to a Cambodian citizen can get Cambodian citizenship automatically after three years of marriage. Other types of visas that allow you to stay in Cambodia for more than 90 days include student, work, or retirement visas. There are also visa-exempt programs such as diplomatic and service passports that can help you stay in Cambodia longer than 90 days. These different visa-exempt programs allow you to live and work in the Kingdom without having to wait.
